Inspiring Poems of Today

Today, when every single thing looks boring, luckly the idea to search inspiring poems swing by my mind. So, let’s take a look:::

If You Really Care

Around the corner I have a friend
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone

And I never see my old friend’s face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell,
And he rang mine…

If, we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men…
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name…

“Tomorrow” I say “I will call on Jim”
“Just to show that I’m thinking of him.”
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
and distance between us grows and grows…

Around the corner! Yet miles away,
“Here’s a telegram sir-”
“Jim died today.”
And that’s what we get and deserve in the end…

Around the corner, a vanished friend…
If you love someone, tell them…
Remember always to say what you mean…
Never be afraid to express yourself…

Take this opportunity to tell someone
what they mean to you…
Seize the day and have no regrets…
Most importantly, stay close to your
friends and family, for they have helped
make you the person that you are today
and are what it’s all about anyway…

How do I love thee?

Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, — I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! — and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

If thou must love me

Let it be for nought
Except for love’s sake only. Do not say
‘I love her for her smile—her look—her way
Of speaking gently,—for a trick of thought
That falls in well with mine, and certes brought
A sense of pleasant ease on such a day’—
For these things in themselves, Belovèd, may
Be changed, or change for thee,—and love, so wrought,
May be unwrought so. Neither love me for
Thine own dear pity’s wiping my cheeks dry,—
A creature might forget to weep, who bore
Thy comfort long, and lose thy love thereby!
But love me for love’s sake, that evermore
Thou mayst love on, through love’s eternity.

If you are ever going to love me,
love me now, while I can know
the sweet and tender feelings
which from true affection flow.
Love me now
while I am living.
Do not wait until I am gone
to have those sweet words chiseled
in marble
on ice-cold stone.
If you have tender thoughts of me,
let me know now.

To My Beloved One

I remember when You came in my dreams. You smiled as it’s Your sign. Every day I was thinking of You, cause I knew I’ll meet You, someday. Now, I’ve realized that I’m getting closer to You, even the truth is You have already been with me since I was born.

When the days getting hard for me, I couldn’t run, I have to face it, and I do believe You will help me to find the right way. Yes, You really really help me and showed the way. You gave me what I need, and release me from confusion. Sometimes I wanna hold You but I couldn’t, I have no braveness, I’m too weak, and because You are belong to every body.

Every single day looked great if I enjoyed it while thinking about You. You are an happiness, shine, air, water, earth, and breath. You are my teacher, my parent, and my friend. You make me alive.!.

Thank You very much for this beautiful life and believe me, You will always inside my heart.
