As I saw my face on the mirror
I found something beautiful
Something weird
But it kept me calm
Mind could be your friend
Also could create your foes
What ever it is
It’s still yours
Wild wild mind
Running around the universe
Nothing could stop
Except you, your own self!!

Remember the story of Bhagavad Gita, and the metaphor of Krisna commanding the chariots for Arjuna right in the middle of Kurusetra before the great war begun….If my memory serves me correctly, the interpretation of that scene is that the horses may have represented our mind and/or desires…controlling them properly, they would be our strengths….losing control of them would lead to our own demise. The moral story is that only via complete surrender to Him (Lord Krisna), would we ever achieve victory in this life and beyond….just like Arjuna
Namaste…and have a great weekend there.
Bli Wayan
Bli Wayan,
thanks a lot
*I’m still learning to be like “Arjuna”.
